Ingredients:
1-2 T Oil
100 g Minced Pork
2 tsp Garlic, finely chopped
1-2 tsp Chili bean paste
1 box Tofu, cubed
1/2 tsp Ginger, finely chopped (optional)
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1 C sliced green beans
Sugar (to taste)
Salt
1 Tbsp Corn Starch (optional)
2 Tbsp Water
Spring onion for garnishing, finely chopped
Instructions:
1) Marinate pork with 1-2 T soy sauce for 5-10 mins (if you want meat to be tender, add a bit corn starch before cooking)
2) Heat oil in wok, add garlic and cook till it’s light brown
3) Add minced pork. When it’s about 70% cooked, add 1 tsp of chili bean paste
4) Add tofu, soya sauce, ginger and green beans then bring to boil (if it’s too dry, add a bit water)
5) Check the taste, add more chili paste or salt according to your preference, then add a bit sugar
6) Cook tofu in medium to low heat for 6-10 mins, so the flavor can go into tofu
7) Mix corn starch and water and add to tofu (optional, it will look better and thicken the gravy), keep stirring till gravy become transparent
8) Add spring onion, and serve with rice
